University of the People UoPeople is not legit

I was ripped off by this University of the People that sold me an unaccredited MBA. They claim it to be "accredited by DEAC", but "DEAC" is not an MBA accreditation body, so this "accreditation" is completely useless.
In my experience, University of the People UoPeople is definitely a waste of money and time. My advice: stay away from this scam. UoPeople.EDU is not legit.

Any serious and respected MBA would be accredited by AACSB, AMBA, ACBSP or EQUIS; UoPeople has nothing to do with them.
Unfortunately, UoPeople makes money by exploiting uninformed people.

I was forgetting: even a regionally accredited MBA without AACSB AMBA ACBSP or EQUIS, it's practically worthless.
And if its accreditation is not even regional (i.e. UoPeople) things get embarrassing.

If you think these programs are worthless, you must be mistaken, as many of their alumni hold high-ranking positions. This suggests that accreditation might not be as crucial as it seems. I also know some MBA students from UoPeople who say their degree really boosted their careers. So, What’s your opinion on this?

The fact that a person holds a "high-ranking position" does not guarantee that an MBA is good. In fact, you can hold a high-ranking position without an MBA, because it's not mandatory.
